When is the reception open?

7am-10pm. Please be advised that if you are checking in outside these hours that you should contact the hostel prior to arrival.

I need to cancel or modify my booking. Can I have a refund?

Asylum does not provide refunds but you can move your booking to another date to use as credit in the future or to transfer to your friend. If notice of cancellation is given within 24 hours of arrival, one night will be charged. This does not apply to bookings for the period between 20th December and 2nd January.



Asylum  will charge your credit card the full amount of your stay for 10 nights on 1st December before your stay from 23 December – 2 January.
As this is the busiest period, there will be no refund or cancellation allowed for your Christmas and New Year bookings.
The final payment will be charged to your credit card on the 1st of December, failure of payment may result in booking cancellation.

Bedroom configurations may also change from time to time to cope with demand, though hostel guests will never be expected to pay more than what they have booked for.

Although every effort will be taken to keep group bookings together, we cannot guarantee that every person will be in the same room.
